Hey guys,
Check back to this site for information about our trip to Israel starting next Tuesday evening and going until 2/26. Amy and I are really looking forward to walking where Jesus walked; where so many miracles took place; where the Disciples lived, etc!! We look forward to sharing our journey with you via cyberspace (extra nerd points if you comment on our posts)
We have been participating in a four-session study about the Holy Land every other Sunday night at my mom's church in Peachtree City and it's been helpful to prepare for our trip. I must say that I'm still not up to speed on all of the names of the locations and the geography (never was good at that in school anyway), but from what I hear our tour guide will fill us in. :) We also got a bunch of cool materials from the travel company and my mom's church to get us a little more informed about where we're going. Finally, they said it's a great thing to journal before/during/after your trip so you can record personal thoughts on how God is speaking to you. Not sure if I will be doing double-duty (posting to the Blog and writing in my Journal) but we'll see! At the very least - this trip has gotten me journaling on a regular basis for the first time EVER and it's been kinda cool so far.
